The Tennessee Housing Association is the trade association representing the factory-built housing industry in the Volunteer State. The Tennessee Housing Association was founded in 1955 and supports its members with training, continuing education and information — ensuring that the people who design, build, install, sell and finance factory-built homes have access to the best industry practices available. Our members are dedicated to providing safe, affordable, high-performance homes to individuals and families in communities across Tennessee.
By partnering with individuals and organizations across Tennessee, THA and its members are bringing increased housing choice to consumers. Our members are ensuring that homes are high-performing and energy-efficient — bringing more value to home buyers — and that buyers have access to smart, sustainable financing options for their home purchase.
The manufactured housing industry plays an important role in the US housing market and provides affordable housing for 22 million households across the country. We’re committed to doing our part in Tennessee.
The Tennessee Housing Association is committed to elevating the manufactured housing brand in Tennessee by accomplishing these goals:
To promote acceptance of factory-built housing by educating elected officials, municipalities, and the public
To work toward fair treatment of factory-built housing
To expand the market for factory-built housing
